One never knows where you might find really good food. Rauol’s Crossroads Tavern located in Venango, Nebraska offers great food, a full bar and good company.
I'm local and lucky my small town has two choices for food and drinks. Love their smothered burrito.
Perfect, honestly, sexy onion rings!! Batter golden & crisp, not crumbly; onion with the perfect chew to not just peel out but snap. Served piping hot with a dish of really good ranch (and I'm not a ranch fan at all). Great burgers. Full flavor, seasoned just right & cooked perfectly, on a beautifully toasted bun. Hot crispy on the outside, soft on the inside fries. Great service with just the right bit of hospitality & sass to create a great atmosphere. Tables & booths available & those booths are great. I'm short & have trouble witg booth tables being too high & seats being too low but these are Goldilocks "just right". Love the posters & artwork too.
